Definition: It is a mixed verbalization of Tagalog and English languages.
Word History: Filipinos developed the habit of speaking in English and inserting in some Tagalog words when they run out of English words to express themselves. Sometimes they take part of the Tagalog word and join it with a part of an English word.
Example Sentence: I need to go to the takubeach. The Taglish word is "takubeach." "Taku" is from the word "kubeta" said backwards and means toilet; it's joined with the English word "beach."
