Word History: From the words "engulf" and "deluge", "enfulge" was simply a case of misspelling and the author's imperfect vision-- the word "engulf" in books was, or rather, seemed "enfulge" to her.
Example Sentence: We watched as flames enfulged our wooden house, as the burning of even our memories lasted through the night. The nightmare I had never envisioned was becoming reality.
