    Word History: Known also as "The Guardian", the pheoblex was first sighted by a wandering Cherokee chief. The legend was passed as a story until it was sighted again by an Egyptian scholar. She named the volant creature after the Phoenix (a legendary Egyptian bird) for it's fiery aura.
    Example Sentence: As the yankee moved further south, the phoeblex kept a close eye on it, these strange fast-talking creatures were not to be trusted.
